THE CREATOR OF WM SCRUNCHIES.

As a lover of scrunchies I always admired them, worn them, and supported small businesses that created them. I even went as far as ordering scrunchies from small businesses overseas.

Playing sports and training to maintain a certain level of health and physical fitness is an interest of mine and is also part of my career. Doing so, I found that I was constantly swapping my scrunchies for boring hair ties as they were more promising in holding my thick hair up during workouts and sporting games. I particularly disliked readjusting my hair during games as it took unnecessary effort and was an annoying distraction at times. As a result I decided to entertain the idea to create scrunchies that you could wear while swimming, exercising and playing sports without having to always readjust your hair, or swapping out scrunchies for boring hair ties.

Let me tell you, there were many trials and errors but when you love something and set your mind to it, you will do whatever it takes for a favourable outcome. I would love to take this opportunity to thank my sister, close friends and early on customers who assisted me with their honest feedback, because of that and my own experiences, I was able to create the SPORTY Collection.

I decided not to stop there and went on further to create the FLARE Collection which includes scrunchie sizes from Medium to XL with materials ranging from plains to prints and satins to velvets designed to add charisma and style to your every day or a special occasion attire.

All the scrunchies on the site are hand-made with love by myself here in the beautiful Northern Territory of Australia, carefully sourcing materials from Melbourne, Sydney and Perth to create nothing less from what I think is the best.

I enjoy this hobby of mine and I cannot wait to share them with you all, spreading the love of colour, style and active living through WM scrunchie products and providing you with many more options so you never have to sacrifice your dare for flare.
